Straight to the heart of the truth in Hertfordshire

For the analysis the group will meet at the headquarters of Pelham Farming near Buntingford, Hertfordshire.The results day is divided into three sections. Firstly, JVFG consultant Jamie Gwatkin will present the results of benchmarking all the member businesses. There will be particular analysis on three key themes:

  • Sprayer analysis over the last three years
  • Liquid fertiliser versus solid fertiliser strategies
  • Spring benchmarking performance

The latest benchmarking results will be the context for the second part of the meeting. Host for the day and Pelham Farming director, Edward Hitchcock, will give his perspective on the opportunities and threats to the Pelham Farming joint venture and insights into the changes they want to manage.

Walking the talk

All the day’s programme will culminate in the final part of the day: the farm visit. Edward Hitchcock and colleagues will lead the group around to see Pelham Farming’s approach close up.
